J’avais beaucoup aimé The Glass Palace et Le Pays des Marées (The Hungry Tide), c’est pourquoi dans les étagères encombrées de la Tata Book House (la librairie du campus) le premier roman d’Amitav Gosh m’avait attiré l’œil.

Il m’aura fallu près de trois mois pour le lire, cependant je crois qu’il ne faut pas l’imputer au contenu, mais plutôt au fait que j’ai une activité trop soutenu pour avoir du temps consacré à la lecture. The Circle of Reason ne m’a pas autant plus que les deux autres, en parti à cause de son étrangeté, et de ses concepts farfelus, mais il reste un bon roman !
